I’ll start.

>First figure I got was the Gorilla Alien, then the Queen, Scorpion, Bull, etc.
>came up with backstory where Gorilla and Scorpion were sapient warriors.
>Gorilla was a rogue xeno that sided with humanity
>Scorpion was a rogue too, but was a genocidal war-monger.
>Gorilla was long-lived and strong, Scorpion was effectively immortal due to dark magic he used upon himself.
>Everytime Scorpion died in an epic duel with Gorilla his dark soul would scatter throughout the cosmos.
>Scorpion would be resurrected via feeding off the souls of every million innocents that were slaughtered throughout the galaxy (war, cult-sacrifices, genocides, etc) and would return multiple times over the centuries.
>Gorilla, while long-lived, was not immortal himself and was the only one able to kill Scorpion, but each fight with him carried the risk he could die, creating many close-calls where Gorilla narrowly escaped death or severe wounds.
>Fast-forward to 2025 IRL, I’m reverse-engineering a 3D scan of Scorpion Alien and a photogrammetry model of the gorilla to 3D print the figures with modern articulation and without their respective gimmicks.

my toy story collection, which is a tight knit found family group of smaller toys, is growing increasingly concerned with the larger warmongering MOTU figures who keep taking up more and more shelf space. They're growing more and more unsettled and looking for final solutions.

Loved the Symbiote Saga as a kid. So whenever I played with my action figures, I'd always have Silly Puddy on-hand to act out moments where Carnage or Venom would "take over" their latest host. I think my interest in that stemmed from a Men In Black toy where Jay was covered in this slimeesq plastic. Dunno why stupid shit like that is so appealing as a child

Does coming up with toy ideas fit into this thread? With how barren the action figure scene is getting I find myself imagining more and more toylines. Some based off existing series, others fully original. I'd happily elaborate if anons are interested.

Honestly that's a really cool idea. I was always surprised something like that wasnt done in the EU. You see them do similar things with Boba and The Emperor, some sort of Vader successor playing pretend while becoming a warlord of a remnant of Imperial space seems very in line with the old EU.

im waiting for my bootleg ultron revoltech to come in the mail as its the lynchpin to my idea, but its pretty much ultron cells to control the mecha units to go to war with the humanoid figures, which currently consists of a few shf riders, moon knight, agent venom, and anti venom, iron man, and bucky, carnage is also on the board, but just as a seed of chaos and main antagonist to moon knights insanity

I've wanted a Revo Ultron just to paint it in Iron Man colors with the headcanon that Ultron wins in AoU but in the final battle a digitized version of Tony Stark's memories gets assimilated into his network-consciousness as a final trump card of the Avengers, and leaves him with the innate desire to still protect life and the survivors of the human race, so he dons the IM colors as an homage to his creator and becomes the new (literal) Iron Man.

Yeah, more or less. Kinda like BK1/"Black King" in Casshern the anime, but in a more redeemed-villain way.

I actually have a storyline I plan on turning into a comic (once I actually get off my lazy ass) that more or less is about the Billy Herrington Figma fighting through various shelves of different figures to get to the "Top Shelf" where all the best Action Figures go. Basically I wanted a goofy story that ends with a Gay Porn Star fighting Goku.
