They gonna quickly find out why this toys end up at ROSS. It'll be like Ollies Eternal Black Panter Star Wars wall of unwanted figures. These are even more than what Target charges and I can find these there still.

I just realized that they were all only Jakks figures being overcharged. I just thought the circled price was just a "yet to be overcharged" at the time

The DBZ figs and Megafigs are also way marked up. $27 instead of the $15 they were just at last week. People are speculating Jakks and Bandai are selling directly to ROSS now instead of stores like Target and Walmart offloading their overstock. Still insane that they think they can charge more that what Gamestop is charging. Some exec is on a "make my mark" trip on the ROSS board or something. They had the balls to get McFarlane exclusive as well. Like those would ever sell at MSRP.

Ross is dying, isn't it. No surprise that The 99 Store was the first to go, so now we're left with Marshall's and Burlington

Yeah this is probably it. Ross getting stock direct form Jakks for the wholesale cost probably, so Ross sells it for much higher to keep their same profit margins on the items that other retailers like Walmart would sell their unsold inventory to them for. They'll learn soon enough that that shit won't sell.

You foreigners in third world countries are so weird. One retailer out of the thousands of stores does something dumb and it's "America is retarded"?

They already overcharge for furniture. I hope toys don't hurt their reputation

He'll never be wrong. I've been to at least 1 3rd world, and their toy stores are plentiful in location and stock. They're missing maybe 1 character and even major toylines, but it's a real shangri la in comparison for reasons that make no sense.

I got a TR Overlord from Ross for $11 just as the Bludgeon Effect was kicking in for him. I know he's not the best-engineered toy ever, but considering the prices he goes for now, I'm always gonna appreciate that I Got It At Ross.

Went to the local Ross once
>complete pig sty
>toy aisle has lost children wondering around
>security guard tough guy eyeballing customers
>sad cashiers about to fade out of existence
I'd rather go without thanks

Picked up the Thundertron WM exclusive 3 pack the other from ROSS for $19.99. Never saw it in an actual WM store. Deals are still going, just not for Jakks and Bandai apperently. Mario playsets are either sticking around or getting torn to shreds and being shoplifted more than usual.

Yeah, I visit the east coast once a year and Ross is a mess.

For whatever reason the California Ross's are slightly better but I have a theory the Instagram Collectors go out of their way to arrange the shelves so they can get good shots of the loot they find to post online.

My Ross have been getting things like Digimon and Godzilla statues. I don't know how, but it's been pretty awesome grabbing them for relatively cheap.

Yes, Atlanta is blessed with more than 5 Ollie's in the metro area. A little different at each location. Worth the hour drive to each shop!!

Mine are all like this plus filled with nothing but Mexicans doing a bunch of shopping before crossing back over the border. Even if I find something decent I have to stand in line for 45+ minutes because there's only two cashier's working so it often doesn't even feel worth it.

Are most of that anime statues and things from one or two specific companies? We've been seeing companies finding a 'home' discount retailer to dump all their overstock on. Most Hasbro stuff goes to Ollie's, most Jakks stuff to Ross+Burlington, and Jazwares stuff to Ross.
