I remember seeing an ad for them on TV, but don't remember seeing them in stores. I wasn't looking for them though.

I had a lot of these, I mainly collected the ROBOT CHADS. I was feeling nostalgic and bought late lot on eBay a while back and had fun playing it a few times. Easy to have them on a shelf and to grab them for a few quick games with someone for 20 minutes.

I think the reason it failed was that there were a lot of weird looking ones and not enough cool looking ones. Maybe if they released some sticker packs to customize with and some blank bodies to supplement the line it would have helped. The weird looking ones were still usually cool though but there were also some eyesore ones that I think prevented some of the pack from selling.


Anyway rambling at this point but if you remove the stickers from the ones you dislike you could probably customize them and do stuff like gundam theme or whatever.
