I just picked up the Mezco Indiana Jones and his thigh and shoulder joints stick whenever I bend them. When I bend them, they don't bend smoothly but unevenly/squeak along. Is it possible to fix this?

And why do you think I'm doing it?

I post on this board maybe twice per year. The elbow joints and knee joints move fluidly, but for some reason the thigh and shoulder joints arent. I'm not quite sure how to describe it, almost like a ratcheting (?)

The only time I've had this issue with a 6" before is a figuarts Doctor Strange, but that was after having him for awhile so I'm not sure why I'm getting the issue right out of the box now.

Stop playing dumb. You make an Indiana Jones thread every two weeks. It’s getting old.

You've gotta be kidding me. Okay, fine, please tell me how to fix the issue with my figuarts Doctor Strange figure than. It's probably the same thing, I was just more annoyed I had it with a brand new $200 figure than a $60 one. Or I also have a Mezo Dick Tracy, we can pretend the joint issue is with him instead if there's a difference in plastics and wearing soft goods.

We've got a griefer in /toy/ that keeps making spam threads. One of his favorite topics when creating them is Indiana Jones, so people are jumpy at the sight of an Indy figure or may just enjoy the confrontation.

Sorry, I don't have an answer for your problem. I would guess shock oil from what I've read other people generally mention, but it's not something I've done myself.

Thank you. I'm not familiar with shock oil, but I'll look it up

Use some silicone oil it's perfect for stuck joins, just be careful with the cloth, i haven't used it on mezco figures but i guess the clothing can get stained with it.

One thing I've always wondered--why is it so hard to capture the likeness of Harrison Ford? This one is by no means bad, but so many Harrison Ford drawings/posters/toys look really off.
