Kenner was pretty great in my opinion.
Everyone hates on Hasbro, but I enjoyed that weird hybrid thing they had going on for awhile.
Mattell is a big hit and miss for me, so many repaints

Nothing ever came close to the original JP toyline.
I did love the new original characters they made for Series 2. To me as a kid THAT was Jurassic Park 2. The Lost World disappointed me in the toy department but I loved Chaos Effect as a kid.
The Hasbro JW line was indeed awful. Mattel has done a great job, I don't own any of it since I have no space for it but I can admit if I did I'd be all over the lines.

This rex was the ultimate toy. You can feed Superman to it and chase your 5 year old cousin around who's scared of dinosaurs.

They have to bend over backwards to actually release something worth owning, while Kenner did it effortlessly.

I only try to collect a few things from Mattel, but if I were a kid I would have loved them. Their output and variety is insane.

I was a kid for the tail post Jurassic Park 3 era and for over a decade there was basically NOTHING but some paltry Hasbro JP3 repaints.
