It's objectively not that bad, no. The sanding is no different than building actual girlpla who you frequently have to sand the joints on anyways. The bootleg Arcee kits, however, do have like, 2 joint pieces in the arms where you have to snip/cut some bits off for the arm to actually bend forward. I've read that theory, and the only problem I have with that interpretation is that they are adult versions. They both "died" in the former reality as 14 year olds.
I interpreted it as everyone gets to move on with their lives in the new reality free from Evangelion that Shinji fabricated. Now that they are free from the Curse of Evangelion, Rei and Kaworu get to go in their own direction, which is why they are on a different train platform.

There's nipple decals out there. You can find a creator or two that sell them on Booth. I know R66 used to be one of the other few people making them, but I don't know if they still do. That said, you could just get one of the many tit sets out there that just come with pre-sculpted nipples and paint them. Looks infinitely better than the decals do by a country mile. Never seen pussy decals though. Some sculpted waist parts you can paint yourself, but that's about it. Just go to Booth, type in "メガミデバイス" (megami device), and you'll get a bunch of the parts made for that line which will lead you down a rabbit hole of scale body parts (among other things). There's even an top-notch creator of soft oppai parts in there somewhere, though I forget their name. A lot of this stuff could even be modified to work on the Chibi Knight with enough effort. So if you want to do something and you're willing to put in the effort, then you've got options. There's also bootleg recasts of a lot of this stuff on Aliexpress if you'd rather go that route, though the price difference isn't all that large if you're in the US and have to put up with the tariffs.

My problem with ai is that the "artists" lack any awareness beyond tits and five fingers on each hand. The details on the rifle trigger my american spirit of freedom harder than a family of illegals forgetting to tip their God loving waitress. Also the cuffs and fingernails look like crap.

Very few ai "artists" notice the small errors and fix them in photoshop. Which then begs the question why we're using ai if we need actual artists to correct mistakes that would never have happened if we just started with artists. Problems will only compound when ai slop is trained on ai slop due to slop completely overtaking human art.

I worded it poorly. I have aphantasia and a very bad sense of size/distance/proportion. I can't eyeball things. Imagine you're drawing a forearm. It is basically two lines. I can't even tell how far I should place the second line. I try to counter that by measuring things. When a character is just standing and viewed from the front, I can figure out how long everything should be by measuring him in head units. Compare this to the previous release, Fatereal, who came with a ton of accessories bundled with her and no 'second version' gimmick; it seems that, sadly, EXSSRION has learned that people are willing to buy multiple figures and shell out a small fortune to 'complete' a character. It's a shame, because the quality of the figures themselves is pretty good, but this practice of splitting up the stuff you need between multiple figures/bundles really is kinda shitty.

They just split Linya up so you can buy what you want. Excluding the swimsuit variant (because Fatereal didn't come with a 2nd fig either), its total of 1 each comes to about the same as Fatereal's price.

I can't deny how sexy this looks. The musculature of the legs and arms flow so nicely on seamless bodies, and they resemble the real deal so much more easily since the sculpt of the body isn't interrupted by the joints.
Although in the end I don't think I could ever be the kind of person who'd put up with the upkeep needed to stop these things from deteriorating and shredding down the line.

I figured that would be the case - it's big and cumbersome looking. Not as bad as the tail on, say, Arcanadea's Yukumo, but certainly big enough to suspect it would be problematic.
