I use Ali all the time, stands, accessories, electric bicycle parts and stuff like that. Some figs too, I collect stuff that doesn't have bootlegs so I can't get screwed this way. Never had any problems so far. Once had to do a refund as the figure was out of stock. I heard good things about Ali's buyers protection. I trust them more than e-shops from USA - those tried to screw me 2 out of 3 times.

Use them a lot, you can get some great deals so long as you pay attention to the seller you’re buying from for reliability. It’s like if Amazon marketplace was good.
I’ve gotten some cheap factory extra figures from there and lots of random neat Chinese figures/accessories.

For original gunpla bandai some seller send well protected.
My 2B and Cure Peach SHF were ok but my Sagiri SHf got problem with color blemish.

The other issue is it's a coin toss whether the merchant will package your shit well. I had a KO MP Grimlock sent in a fucking plastic bag with no box or protection around the original packaging, just a fucking BAG. Then the mail asshole threw it over my fence. Shit was busted to pieces.

I used to use them every now and then. Never had any problems in the few dozen orders I put in except for the occasional figure arriving with box damage and once when a seller tried to charge me more after paying. Unfortunately, prices have gone up since the whole tariff bullshit and a lot of items on my wish list now say item can't be found or can't be shipped to your address. Recently my search results on there have been shit as well, so it's basically become unusable for me.
