I think SE is just waiting on when they would announce FFIX Remake first before announcing either reissue of the old Bring Arts or new designs from said Remake, I feel the latter is what will happen, SE really never do reissues of Bring Arts only exception will be for the FFVII Bring Arts line(Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, Sephiroth) as they know those characters are popular and they would lose potential sales if they didn't do a reissue(Bring Arts Tifa even made top 3 for best selling merchandise for their quarterly report)

How bloody confusing

Everything finally arrived! Along with the lightbox, 40x40. I was so busy that I barely had time to pose them. I'm going to do chores today and post something here from time to time.

Also, I've seen that Elena was released? Hobby Genki didn't charge me...

I'm not going to post pics of Sephiroth and Vincent, just my still boring display with all of them together, I guess. I haven't figured out how to arrange them yet. I'm also waiting for the last two FFXVI figures to arrive. I made that my Ikon display too, which I'll post in a bit. Barth's arm snapped on me sadly while switching hands, which convinced me that it's almost better to buy toys second hand since they are already "tested." He really is cursed. First, they forgot to ship him, then he waited months to get shipped, and now he's broken. The Weltall is fucking PERFECT, however, one of his bits had too much glue applied, and I'm still going to try to get a replacement since it irks me, and I don't want it to have issues in the future. I could keep it since it's "not that bad," but not for this price. Honest mistake, I forgive.

RUDE is so fucking cool, it's unreal. He was the last I opened, and good lord, he just shines. He feels nice and just looks sooooo cool. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the trucks now.

Cait Sith is just gorgeous. When the line started, I wasn't sure if I wanted to collect it at first. I had Cloud, and as we all know, he was meh until OP gave me the fix, but then I saw Cait Sith, and I just fucking NEEDED him. Oh my god, he's so nice and big, and the cat is so small and good. I was worried about the limbs when I first saw the cat ones compared to Eiko, for example, but nope, it's just a good fucking toy. I'd say I wish the Mog had more articulation, but he just looks so nice, and his arms move, it's enough. If they want to milk me with another, make a model kit.

Anyway...

Ifrit is incredible. He looks good and, most importantly, moves well... though he's a bit spiky. Almost everything is ball-jointed, and he has a nice ab crunch and range of motion. I have nothing to complain about other than it was hell to remove all those plastic protection thingies, and there is one on the tail that I just can't fucking reach, lol.

He looks really good overall. It must have been a nightmare to make him shippable. He's without a doubt the best summon so far. Though Odin is also very articulated, he is basically a Play Arts figure with Play Arts joints, and those make me nervous with those clicks every movement.

His stand is kind of a pain in the ass (literally), though his balance is really, really good, and he doesn't really need one. I still use it, though, just in case while displaying.

Here's the display for the two. I'll rearrange them and will probably print some kind of stuff to make it look prettier. I'm also hoping to get a really big case one day, but I just can't find them anywhere, and the ones I saw cost as much as the whole collection, lol.

Oh yeah, the Daytona. 9/10. It would be 10/10 if it could twist the steering wheel, but whatever. The wheels turn. It's very stable. You can see Cloud just standing there on it without a stand. Can't ask for much more than that.

I dunno, I'm rearranging them daily. It will take some time until I find something good. Some aren't even posed yet. Joshua and Barnabas arrive next week, and the FFXVI line will be complete. I kinda hope we still get Ultima, though, since he has a cool and uncanny design.

It's one of those "I never knew I needed this, until the day I got it" kinds of toys, even though he's basically the whole reason I went all in on the line. I just didn't know how much I needed it yet. Just a beautiful figure.

The Daytona still feels unreal, honestly. It's too cool to be true. Since I sold my reissue Cloud, I'll probably get the Hardedge version too, just to pose it with the Daytona like that one pic.

That was me. I got all the commons and lands in foil, and all the art cards. Originally, I thought I'd get everything in foil, but honestly, they are kind of hard to make out when they are foiled and just so expensive. I think I'll get the rest as regular cards. I was told the set will go on for three years or so and that it will get cheaper over time, so I'll take my time. I was thinking yesterday about printing tiny cards out and posing them. I even got slightly thicker paper that wouldn't bend already.

Eh, yeah, the neck isn't too long, per se ...it's the peg. The head needs to be lower. It looks natural if you remove the peg completely and replace it with putty. Same for Bring Arts to Figma. You could probably force the Figma peg into a bring arts body, since it looks like it would fit, but I'd fear it expanding the plastic. Here's what I've been working on. FF7 Ever Crisis had an April Fools' episode with everyone going to high school (Barret was the sports teach lol). Here's Tifa's outfit. It still needs a bit of cleanup and line work and I will probably print a custom Figma to Bring Arts peg. Though the first one will be static, but I'll try to create one that moves someday if I find good examples on the internet.

I was thinking about Figma Styles: Sukeban Body (Makoto). It's almost perfect already and even comes with a long belly piece. So I just need to get another long sleeved Haruhi or something. Or a Lucky Star. Those are even better, but they're flat chested. Mikuru is actually better since she has bigger breasts. So I'll pick up the Figma body and a Mikuru. I'll turn this one into an Aerith base and use the Mikuru for Tifa, and it should be right. I actually forgot she had bigger breasts completely. Time to rewatch Haruhi, maybe.

Also, Joshua arrived, completing the FFXVI line. I'm still hoping for Ultima, and more Eikons/Primals/Summons are always welcome.

Here's Weltall. I really wish he was bigger, at least the size of 1/6 figures, but it is what it is. He's pretty good, but super annoying with all the moving parts. He has drop-down hips, but they make me cringe hard while moving. It doesn't feel nice, and while it doesn't make a sound, it feels like scratching a chalkboard. His knees like to bend backwards too easily as well. He's not loose by any means and can pose pretty nicely despite being a bit back-heavy, but it can get frustrating. I guess I need to make a tiny Fei to pose with him, just like the tiny Cloud.

The FF9 edging is insane. Whatever is coming, it better be good...

Notice how Beatrix is in the group and the Tantalus members in the crowd. These are the Bring Arts figures. So maybe we get a reissue after all... plus Tantalus. That would be so based.

Initially I wanted FF7 on one side, FF9 on the other and the two villains in the center or outer edges, to still be separated from the main party. But now with the Turks added it's another +5 of essentially its own group.

Yeah, the perspective is kinda messing up the height of characters as some are on the front while others are further at the back, doesn't help that in the og, they don't have listed heights but in Remake, Rufus is supposed to be 6'1 and Rude is 6'3, I guess the one in charge of making the Bring Arts followed the og artworks by Nomura to a tee

Yeah, thats the only problem, the figures can stand but a minor bump and they might fall off, I think Vincent while he can stand fine, due to how his shoes is designed, he might need a stand in the long run just to be on the safe side, I personally haven't used Bring Arts stands, left them in the boxes but heard they aren't good?
