Anyway, Krypto obtained. Now I have every member of the Super Family, all of the Super Pets, a custom Lois Lane, and a Daily Planet diorama. This figure was a weird way to reach the summit but I finally have everything I need and my collection is complete.

As an actual DC fan, the whole line has felt like one big monkeys paw. I just want a decent Marvel Legends style DC equivalent. None of this chase bullshit. No variants. No artificial scarcity to drum up hype and fomo. And that's not even getting into what I personally dislike about the figures themselves, that part is entirely my subjective opinion. But it is an objective fact that those sformentioned detriments to the line itself definitely helped kill hype and caused Todd to lose the license.

I'm glad I wasted the money on this, I'm drinking booze during a BBQ this evening and all my neighbors were actually loving it and most of them are probably Marvel fans. And their kids, who are too young for either, are probably The Boys and Invincible fans.

I saw the IMAX because it was the most convenient show to me that had a pretty packed audience. I actually have often gone to the fan nights, that how I saw The Flash, and Aquaman II, those are fun because it's rowdy and packed. But I figured most of that crowd was at the Prime events this past Tuesday and I had shit to do early Friday morning and didn't want to have a late night on Thursday.
I have to be in downtown by my old 4DX regal and depending on how busy I get and if this old co-worker wants to skip out and see it, we might catch a bargain Tuesday as I would like to see it in 3D as well.

But IMAX is always great when you want to catch details. I think they spent money on Krypto's CGI since he looked good (Baby Joey not so much, the Kaiju also looked good as well). You see all the wrinkles on Nathan Lane's face for example but you can also really enjoy Cat Grant's braless boobs bouncing up in the T-Sphere while they are celebrating at the end of the movie.
