That head sculpt is impeccable. I think i'm sold on this Arena line now. Not getting Orochi. It was a good run, but i'm out. Arena only from now on.

Really? I still see the 7 inch as the main line and will collect both. I like the soft goods as it gives us multiple looks with each figure. Besides the first two Baki that only came with the trunk.

I think i'll aways just prefer 1/12 scale. I find it more appealing and have never bee a big fan of cloth goods. The only thing I like about the bigger figures is the head sculpts and paint details, but if they can nail that then 1/10 loses it's appeal.
I just really want all my characters to look well scale side by side eachother. Sad storm is getting some great licences and then making them bigger.

So with this set to be the next big jump series to reach the mainstream, you think it will hit and get loads of merch or become another sleeper like Black Clover and Dr.Stone?

Anyone hear collect classic Mazinger Z merch? I decided to pass on the revo as it'too stylized, but i'm considering the new Bigsize (40cm) from Evolution Toy? Anyone got this or the DX Soul (30cm)?

The articulation isn't anything special, but it's got diecast joints, so should support itself well.
I also like the punch effect it comes with.
Retail is around 40,000 yen which seems reasonable given the size and weight. Heaven knows what international shipping would cost though.

My problem with Evolution Toys is the prices. The figures themselves do feel quite cheap and delicate compared to the more solid chogokins, but the insane prices they charge are what kills it.
I have a few of the dynamite action line, but the Garage Kit ones are probably the nicer.

I've stopped collecting their 1/10 figures. Their Storm Arena line is top class. But like others pointed out, you can mix and match with certain characters. 1/10 Yujiro might work with 1/12 Baki, I still have 1/10 Sagat on a shelf with 1/12 SHF SF figures and they look great together.

Medicos are in LA for Anime Expo it seems. I wonder if there will be any reveals from anyone.

I don't have cyber blue, but its a 1/10 from storm. I may get it in future, but the scale kinda irks me.
Baoh was a 2017 wonfes exclusive from medicos and is still one of my favorite manga characters and figures. They did a purple repaint as well. He looks good along side other oldfag shonen characters of the 70s & 80s

Baoh got an SAS when JoJo had a new explosion of popularity after the anime anf Araki's other stuff sort of got caught in the wave. He was in a JoJo game or two as well.
