She's only $15 more than the Mezco LDD, about the same price as Mafex. I think even if you chose to customise one, getting the costume right and everything will probably work out to the same price or more. And if a Figma (doubtful) or an SHF (slightly more likely since they did Beetlejuice) got made, they will easily be around that price. Maybe SHF would be slightly cheaper.
Honestly, the Mafex is the one that impresses me the most, but I do like the Monster High one. The only thing the NECA has over the rest is her skinless head.

Yeah, but I can't help but mentally compare how much this one costs, and then think how much a regular Monster High doll costs and feel ripped off. Especially given that she isn't really the perfect in terms of capturing the look. I could tolerate all the other details being stylised to fit the branding, but the eyes are so far off the mark that it kinda kills the whole figure for me.

Probably more trouble than it's worth. NECA figures often tend to have a very lumpy surface, either from poor molding or shoddy paintwork. You'd have to do a lot of sanding to get it even halfway acceptable.

For me, I think it's the jawline and the brow that makes it look off. It's entirely in the sculpt, so a paint job isn't going to fix it.

So, just saw M3gan 2.0. It was enjoyable, but I can see why it's not as well liked as the first. The genre change from a Chucky-like horror to a MCU-like action movie was jarring. Also, don't think we can expect many figures, if any, from it with how often she and Amelia changed outfits.

See this is one of the reasons I think that the franchise, especially the second film, has toyetic potential. You could stock an entire wave of fashion dolls based just on M3gan's outfit changes. Hell if they could make the figures modular (ala MOTU Origins) then there's potential for mixing and matching. M3gan's greatest hurdle is the time in which it's being made, if this were the 80s or hell even the early 90s, M3gan would have had a toyline out the gate, regardless of the rating. A sci-fi action/horror series to appeal to boys, and a fashion doll aspect to appeal to girls.
