While everyone on eBay has been trying to get the chase Midge doll and paying exorbitant prices, I grabbed a 2013 LITD Midge in great shape for just $35. Yay.

I am. I don't buy every single one that pops up or anything. Especially with the rare chase wave now, I only have one of those and have no intention of getting another. Maybe if there's one out of the box for cheap, or there's a mint in box for a reasonable price, since USPS damaged the box on mine. But I don't really need a mint in box since I don't intend to resell.

I actually strongly prefer the Midge from the old Barbie & Midge two-pack, which is more common, so if it's the one with the earrings from the single pack I'm probably not buying it if it pops up on eBay.

I'm starting to get a little overwhelmed with Barbie collecting since I don't display them really and they just clutter things. I'm actually going to organize and donate/sell a lot of stuff next week. There's only about 4-5 dolls in my collection I really play around with and mostly just care about Midges.

Update to these: the Cher & Dionne are also on Target.com with free shipping over $35 and a $10 coupon off select toys over $40.

I did two different transactions and got Cher & Dionne for $45 each instead of $99.68 instead of $119.15 from Walmart.

I have two of the Worldbox bodies. Both are AT202 "plump leg" bodies. One is a tan bod with an E cup torso and the other is a pale with a D cup. I'm thinking of getting a third WB muscular body to make a custom Chun-Li. BTW, I also did the Odile Mermaid+Tennis MtM body swap. So yeah, I can answer any questions you may have. Here's my thoughts:

>Odile head on a WB body.
Yes! It can be done! WB bodies have a ball joint peg that's easy to pop a Babs head on. It's best to get a pale color body for this, as the skin color is very close between the WB pale and Odile head.

>Build quality
Like it says on the box, crazy durable. Torso is made of vinyl with an interior framework. Limbs are solid resin-like plastic. Very heavy with those solid thighs. She'll take a shelf dive onto a hard surface floor without breaking. The buttery smooth joints can hold poses well. YES! She's also anatomically correct and fully body blushed. Because that’s the main question on everyone’s minds. Don’t deny it!

>Extra body parts
This is how WB nickles & dimes ya! All the WB bodies come with the smallest bust upper torso. If you don't want A cup anguish, then you better fork over $25 for a bigger bust. Swapping out the bust requires removing the arms, obviously. It's easier than you'd expect and that crazy durable build quality means that you won't break anything in the process.
The base body comes with 4 sets of hands and one set of high heel arched feet. You can buy extra hands in different poses if you want. There's also jointless forearms and calves. The alternate calves have foot fetishistic feet if that appeals to you.
Most importantly, there's a new alternate split thigh joint that WB should be releasing soon. If you want to get MtM levels of articulation, then you should look into getting those.

>Clothes
The trickiest part. Don’t expect most of your normal fashion doll clothes to fit WB Bodies. The main problem is that WB bodies have DAT ASS which is xbox hueg. Your average female fashion doll pants will not fit all that junk in the WB trunk. At best, you can get some stretchy skirts that fit Barbie curvaceous bods, which will be tight. Tops are based whether you got the “upgraded” bust. The standard A cup can fit most standard fashion doll tops. But from B cup on up is iffy at best. So your best bet is to look for clothes online that state they can fit Phicen or better, Worldbox itself. Even so, if you want your doll to wear pants and jeans that will be certain to fit, get Phiecen sized men’s clothes.

>Shoes
Again, most standard Barbie scaled shoes will not fit. Phicen shoes will fit no problem, but they can be expensive at $10~$30 per pair of shoes. Rainbow High shoes with fit WB as well as some Monster High shoes. The new Jem doll’s shoes can also fit, although they’re a bit loose because they have to over Jem’s sparkly hosiery.

That’s all I can recommend when it comes to Worldbox. Feel free to ask anything that I didn’t answer in this blog post. Worldbox are more on the male marketed 1/6 “Gi-Joe, Hot Toys, & Phicen” scale side of things rather than the female focused fashion doll side. Still, they’re very good dolls to have if you want something nice & thicc to add variety to your collection.

Yes, unless it's very loose or stretchy. A Rainbow High doll has a hip size of 14cm. Worldbox has a 18cm hip size. And for the record, a standard barbie has a 13cm hip. Curvy Barbies have 16cm.
