Is that so? Then why don't you share with us pictures of your own Flagg, Sail Barge, and other big, expensive toys you own. That would really make us poorfags seethe with jealousy.

NTA but I had a chance to grab the FLAGG for a steal many years back, wouldn't even have to pay shipping because it was at a local con. But I was literally just between jobs at the time and chose to be frugal and responsible instead of jumping on my Grail of Grails.

Now many years later, the thing sells for like three times more then what I could've gotten it for, and while I can actually still afford it....I just don't have the space to properly make use of it. And that's far too big of an investment not to show off.

Incidentally, my second "most expensive" single figure (sort of) purchase in my collection to date was a $300 G1 Predaking Reissue. I guess the Haslab HISS Tank also technically counts as it was a higher priced purchase, but I kind of see the Tank and the figures as separate items since they were each individually packaged.

Though that argument will be made moot in a few years anyway since that $500 Mythic Legions Dragon will pretty much take that top spot without dispute. Even with his pack-in figures excluded, he'll be the new highest priced single item in my collection. At least until the day I get my man cave built and finally splurge on a $1500 Air Craft Carrier.

How much man needs to spend to be called a richfag? I'm a former Lego fan who just recently switched to action figures, and 300 bucks to me feels like nothing, you can't even buy larger Lego set for that. This sounds more like a normalfag to me.

I was thinking that the USS Flagg could make a cool gaming table. It might be better as a scratch build using a folding table as a base, rather than trying to buy a USS Flagg, though.

I will forever envy this guy's scale-accurate USS Flagg. It even has LED runway lights. A man can only dream.

Yeah, someone like >>11489535 just seems like your average mcdonalds worker, because most of what he's talked about buying aren't even the price of a gaming console.
I think if someone had a USS Flagg, I think he had money, not because he could afford some $800 coffee table posing as a playset, but because he has space for it. And even then, i wouldn't call him rich, just median income man.

Rich is when you can actually afford good furniture and not the ikea/walmart shit you see in practically every photo posted on /toy/. People with money have the space to actually make a non-claustrophobic setting to enjoy their hobby. Most of /toy/'s collections look like they're inside their bedrooms, all crammed against one wall because their bed is on the other....

I think I've only ever seen two people on /toy/ who i would call well off, because both of them had custom shelving in dedicated nerd/entertainment rooms. One lived in Mexico and the other was a redneck (with money). They also clearly had other hobbies too, with paintings and video games.

pic is me showing off some of my various hobbies and i'd laugh if they considered this rich just because some of them cost more than a gaming console, because even kids can afford to save up for a gaming console.

To be fair, it's the "Women" trade that's in my image, which is what most people condemn his entire series over. Of course, if you actually read his comics, they're still good, if a bit cringy. The first couple dozen comics are actually good too, even if it's the later stuff that gets all the praise.

Only a poorfag and third worlders would consider this rich.
Nevermind i took that picture like 4 years ago

pic is a day old.. with 10 year old set but i needed it and it cost me quite a bit of money.

>>11491039
never claimed i was rich and basically insinuated I'm median-income-man due to the fact i own shit that anyone should be able to afford if they have a well paying job.
Being rich is on a whole other level that poorfags and third worlders don't really understand. You're just jealous of the average american.

Those Destiny mega sets were woefully underrated. I was actually playing the game when those sets came out, and bought multiple copies of all of them. The Harvester was kino, and I had two of them. Unfortunately, I had no room for most of the stuff, so half or more of the sets I never even opened, and they sat sealed in a closet for years. After like four or five years, I eventually sold them all for a small mint when the were going for crazy amounts.
