Same. My first set was 6649 Street Sweeper. Best and biggest set I ever had - 6348 Surveillance Squad. Looked it up, it brought a tear to my eye. Those rotating chairs, computer screens, antennae, police bike...

My earliest toy memory was using this to make tiny playdoh yodas and smashing them into the carpet. (I didn't know I wasn't supposed to do that)

Man, I had so many toys growing up, it's hard to pin down the actual first. This one's definitely in the running, though. I think I still have it in storage somewhere. Had a lot of 3.75" Star Wars figures as well before ever even seeing the movies because my parents were such big fans.

I legit don't even remember. It was 35 years ago. I wanna say some Disney stuffed animals. I do remember a bunch of my other childhood toys, and even got a bunch of tubs full of them from my parents a few months ago. I really need to go through them, especially my old Power of the Force collection. My mom kept all of it, figures, vehicles, even the fucking Falcon. I really need to take a look at all of that shit, it's just chillin in my garage for now.

Not counting generic teddy bears, the earliest I remember is a Sesame Street game where Oscar the Grouch is in his trash can, and he kinda wobbles, and the goal it to balance stuff on the trash lid on his head.

top kek
Im that anon and yeah i was born in USSR.
I had all kinds of old plastic or rubber soviet toys back then.

We have a whole unknown iceberg of toys that not known outside of dying rare soviet toys fans community.

There are iceberg levels that have bootlegs based on Disney afternoon cartoons that ussr managed to do back in late 80s - early 90s

I am almost certain I had one of these too, though I lived in America, we had a lot of former Soviet and Commie Bloc toys because of immigration (my parents are immigrants too). I think that the toy was an alligator with a hat.

Wow this looks soooooo soooo cool. If i had this transformer as a kid it would blow my mind. Because all formers i had back then disappointed me- they barely looked that cool or had that much of articulation (due to transformation).

I see. Wasn't there a recent film? I sometimes watch Russian films, as it is my second language (my mother's side is from Belarus). Maybe it was from her childhood or one of her brothers (one died in a factory accident, maybe it was his). I remember the Wolf and Hare (Nu Pogodi) (phoneposting, so no Cyrillic, but you probably know the series), but where I lived it was best to hide my nationality heritage (almost everyone else was from Germany or Poland), and when they found out because of a careless picture (featuring a samovar with some very visible Russian on it) I had the living shit kicked out of me at recess. Good times.

I guess I will share another toy that I had from a very young age, built from a kit when I was five, made in DDR and bought from a yard sale.

Believe it or not, Russia has a surprising influence in the US, there is a Lukoil facility about a mile away from my grandmother's apartment, as well as a service station and I have seen some toys and games from Rosman, Star and Mango Art, especially Star.

Some of the earliest things I remember playing with outside of wooden blocks and baby toys were various mcdonalds toys. I actually didn't eat mcdonalds very often I think my mom was just buying the toys on their own and giving them to me. Besides the ones in the picture I also remember a lot of hotwheels cars from there.
