Comfy thread for this now obscure Kenner IP that was meant to compete against G.I. Joe and Transformers. The action figures were smaller than G.I. Joe but they were about the same scale as Dino-Riders. It had a cartoon that ran for a few seasons and was then canceled after it went from being about an ongoing war between MASK and VENOM (they are both acronyms with very silly meanings) to being a about the two groups having races, likely due to complaints about violence in kids' cartoons in the late 1980s.
It's getting a remake toyline in the same scale as the original, licensed by Hasbro to Loyal Subjects. As far as I know Loyal Subjects are not planning to make a toy of the submararine car the Shark which was infamously missing from the original line, however Ramen Toy already has an unauthorized one for sale that looks good (albeit, it's even more expensive than the officially licensed remake toys).
