I wish they'd go the extra mile and make the blue parts matte while leaving the gold parts glossy. Its weird they never put top coats on anything. Makes their figures look way more premium. A lot of versions of the characters Mafex does are the definitive versions in my opinion. They're higher quality than domestic figs, and may seem a little basic when compared to something elaborate like AY, but that's ok in my opinion. Price wise, yeah, they do feel $10 or so too much, but that's not enough from putting me off of them. I've rarely been outright disappointed with a Mafex, and more often than not, I am very pleased with them. Daredevil and Spidey 2099 turned out as close to perfect as I could want. Plus, they're my main line for DC stuff. Looking at the Mafex thread they reall are getting us some good shit too.

They are definitely overpriced, but I got him because he is the best 1/12 Cyclops. I am quite poor, so i avoid ML and other cheaper brands. The only other Mafex I own is TDK Triumphant Batman and Superman. They don't look like your typical Mafex figure, they have very unique proportions and the Triumphant Batman especially has more detail, paint and shading. It would be nice if they released Wolverine that bulky.
