Because i was lied to that growing up was something I had to do and that meant I could no longer enjoy certain things. Then I learned that those bitter fuckers lied to me like they were lied to. That as long as I paid the goddamn bills I could like what ever I fucking wanted to and people could accept that or fuck off. Then I bought another of that toy that loved me and while its not the original it's better than nothing
