Where's the NECA guy to say it's normal, and normal people boil their figures in boiling water before trying to move any joints? And if it breaks it's your fault for taking it out of the package because normal people don't do that?

I disagree actually, op should e-mail the manufacturer and make them aware of the issue with his product, he shouldn't have to reach for the fucking hair dryer every time

this
heat it up with a hair dryer from about a foot away for 5 seconds at a time and then letting it cool down for 5 seconds after
do that 5 times each and then put it down for about 5 minutes to cool down completely
do NOT move any of the joints yet
after a 5 minute cooldown period get a small bucket and fill it up with warm water
the temperature you're looking for is between 122°f and 139°f for optimal effect
get yourself a ziplock bag and put your figure in it and only then put it into the warm water
get a timer because you're going to want to dip it for about a minute and a half at a time with a 3 minute cooldown period inbetween
do that 3 times and then take the figure out the ziplock bag and put it down to cool down for about 30 minutes at least
now you can start slowly moving the joints that were too tight but it's best to not push them too much and repeat the process one or two more times for the best and safest outcome

McFarlane has lost the DC license.
Their Spawn and whatever else they make (Witcher for Netflix since I see those remaindered at Ross for like $2.99 all the time), probably also is greasy and sticks, but their customer service sucks ass.
