Because they've already done an Enterprise, doing one every year will get old fast. The only way to keep it interesting is with something like a playset, such as Kre-o, or midi-scale ships like Star Wars. They could even do a bridge set from TOS to celebrate it—Mega Bloks did that.

If Lego were smart they could do epic moment diorama style playsets for Star Trek

alcohol and a qtip, just lightly damp it and wipe it. I'm not sure if alcohol will affect the actual printing on the parts, but a gentle scrub will remove the marker and should leave everything fine

I'll get it for sure, but I am a little sad the gull wing doors can't open. I get that the DeLorean is a weird shape, and that old Cuusoo/Ideas set implemented the frame and doors in such a terrible way that it just looked and functioned so awkwardly.

Is /lg/ okay with customs? I'm making a custom of a technic figure but I'm having an issue with two parts.

I just built the $27 Aliexpress fender Lego replica. The blocks fit together fine but the issue was the plastic feels slightly off. Also the plastic is all scuffed up. Instead of a cloth strap it included a plastic one. I have spent many thousands on real Lego and I ordered a few Ali express versions of retired sets because im not paying those prices on eBay. Anyways, it's so totally over. I asked for my legos back from my junkie brother, whom my mother had lent my childhood collection to a few years ago to let his single mom girlfriend's kid play with... He got irrationally angry for no reason and freaked out at me for even asking, and after storming out of my mother's house he came back and threw the boxes at the driveway....
All the minifigures and parts, as well as some partially assembled sets that I had in ziplocs are missing, I don't really know what happened to them and I doubt I'll ever see them again. My instruction booklets and bionicles are intact, though.
