generic budget mediterranean resort country, there's not much to see there culturally, and everyone is poor and heavily inclined towards theft. if you absolutely must go to the balkans and have a job go to croatia or montenegro instead

it's got everything
mountains, beaches, historic towns etc
interesting history due to communism and mixed islamic/christian culture
and it's cheap
the only downside is that transport sucks
visit sooner rather than later as normies have found out about it since covid and prices will only rise
