5 days in Vegas
Long story but I'm gonna be in vegas full-day from Oct 25 till Oct 30.
I'm 20 but have a fake ID. I don't know how strict they are but whatever, some casinos will let me in.
Things I wanna do:
>Gamble (max $250 lost)
>Go to a nice record store and buy Heaven or Las Vegas
>Rent a car and go to Grand Canyon and other roadside stuff (diners and shit)
>Walking around the strip, Bellagio and all of that shit
>Watch some live events (hopefully they don't bounce me with my fake ID)

If you have any ideas or advice, please help me out

worth mentioning im not an american so there's some places I find really charming about the US, such as Goodwill (to buy american stuff), diners in general, gas stations, car shows, etc. The whole americana is really nice to me. But I'm in vegas so I'm not gonna waste my trip.

I also am broke as fuck so I want to larp as rich (I have real good clothes) so they give me "complimentary" stuff. I don't know if this is still a thing. I know that back in the day it was the best place to larp as rich. Hopefully some remnants of that are still around

I lived in Vegas for 2 years and I visit multiple times a year to visit friends. October is a great time to visit for weather because the weather is perfect.

1. Shish Kabob House. Best cheap meal in the city. Get the Lamb chops and the chicken Lula.

2. Red Rock. Park in the free Calico Basin parking lot. Hike to the top of the big ass rock pile. Amazing views. Amazing park.

3. Play a round of gold at the Cloud 9 course at Angel park. You can get a $30 tee time and they include clubs. It's a beautiful oasis and one of the best cheap courses in the US.

3. Go downtown on Saturday night and watch the free bands on Fremont Street. Go to the liquor store and buy a giant 40 oz beer for $3 and they'll pour it in a red cup and you can drink it outside. Best deal for beer in the city.

4. Go to Chinatown on Spring Mountain and eat at a Ramen place. Ramen Hashi and
Ramen Tatsu are unreal. Also, very good prices.

5. Arizona Hot Springs Trail. One of the best trails in the area to a huge natural hot sprung in a slot canyon. You can hike all the way down and see the Colorado river. Amazing views on the trail.

6. Cool casinos to walk around in: Go see the fountains at Bellagio show and see the glass flower lobby, the Mall in the Venetian is cool, the Forum mall at Caesars is cool,

7. Pinball hall of fame. Nice cheap stop if you're into vintage arcade games

8. In and Out burger. Amazing burgers. Exceeds the hype. Best fast food in the US.

9. Want to see some real degenerate gamblers? Go do a round of Bingo at the Palace Station casino one night!

10. Strip Club. Play it again Sams. Total dump. Totally fun place to go when you're drunk.

Question for the rest of you:

Any photo ideas where I don't look like a crypto grifter? I want to look cool, I don't mind bragging, but anything I can do screams Andrew Tate.

They only do that when you spend a lot of money at the casino

I live in vegas. Some advice
The casinos off the strip offer more freebies and incentives, making it an overall better experience. You get more bang for your buck. Off the strip you can play normal $5/hand blackjack vs $10/hand on the strip (with worse odds). I suggest Ellis Island, Palms, or the casinos in the old downtown (Fremont street)

Amazon is offering free self driving car rides anywhere along the strip. They just launched beta last month so the rides are currently free. It's called Zoox.

Do research on driving to the grand canyon. It's quite far. There are two places to see the grand canyon
Grand Canyon West, located on a native american reservation. This is 2h15m away from vegas. More commercialized, it's an okay view. The tour groups from vegas go here. They have helicopter tours (recommended) and an overpriced skywalk.
Grand Canyon Village, on the south rim. This is 4hr30min away from vegas. This is the actual Grand Canyon national partk, the best views are here, there are actual hiking trails. However, it's quite far, and you'd preferably stay here overnight.
Since you have 5 days in vegas, consider going on a bus tour to the grand canyon so you dont have to drive.

It's cheaper to get car. Tip, if you have a car and stay off the strip, you won't get scammed by parking. The strip casinos charge $20/day for parking. If you stay 1 block off the strip, it's free. I suggest staying at Ellis Island, Tuscany, Palms, Rio. I like Ellis Island cuz the food is cheap. They have a $10 steak and eggs from 11pm-6a if you have the players card.

While walking on the strip, I suggest
Bellagio Conservatory/Botanical Gardens
Venetian canal. Stop at Le Macaron French Pastries, and go up the stairs in the back. That's the best photo spot.
See some shows. You must see at least one show in vegas. I suggest
Tournament of Kings, it's a live-action medieval dinner show with armored knights jousting on horseback, sword fights.
Cirque du Soleil, world class acrobatics show.

Find one of the shittier smaller casinos because they have the lowest betting limits. I don’t know if $1 blackjack tables exist on the strip anymore. You want to play craps because you can take $50 and play conservatively all night, get stinking drunk off free cocktails, and still probably walk out with your $50.

>5 days
Why? Vegas is a 3 night town MAX

>Grand Canyon
That’s in Arizona, a 5 hour drive away. You’ll burn two days going to see that.

>Fake ID
Seriously doubt it will work at any of the larger establishments. They’ll either ask you for your passport which they will immediately scan and know your age or they won’t take whatever shitty local ID you have.

Also, everything is fucking expensive now. Vegas used to be centered on cheap food/drink/lodging/entertainment because the main idea was to get people to gamble. Now that dudeweed showed up and they tried to make it a family friendly destination, all the value is gone.

Sign up for players cards at each casino. You might have to do some research but they’re free and you usually get some kind of sign up bonus like half off the buffet or a few bucks in chips.

Thanks man for the Zoox app advice.

>Grand Canyon
I'll go to the West Rim, and stop at a few roadside attractions like a ghost town. It'll be from 8am to 6pm door to door, that's the idea.
I really love "Americana", such as the film Paris, Texas. My highlight of my 2 month NYC trip was renting a car and going to Boston and stopping in many towns along the way. Highways are beautiful in your country; don't take it for granted. People are retarded and say your culture sucks, it honestly is the greatest country on earth.
>Bellagio Conservatory/Botanical Gardens
Yeah I'm looking forward to that.

>Shows
Agnostic Front plays while I'm there. I'll also catch a Cirque du Soleil show.

>>2832340
>why?
My dad has a work event and the company is paying for the hotel, his flight and a bunch of other stuff, so since the hotel is huge, he flew me over for like 800 bucks. Totally worth it considering I'm from Argentina.
>Fake ID
As long as nothing bad happens to me legally, it's fine. In NYC 90% of bars let me in, the other 10% just told me to leave. As long as they don't call the cops it's fine.

I was in vegas last week, no clue on how the underage/fake id shit works, never got carded but im a balding guy in a hawaiian shirt. Some suggestions;

1. Visit fremont st at night, it's amazing
2. Shows are fun, theres likely something you will enjoy, im not gonna make personal reccomendations because idk what you like
3. Get a monorail pass. it's worth it.
4. Be aware of ATM fees, it's generally cheaper to get 250 in one go than 50 5x etc... idk your banking situation since you're a foreigner, but see if there are partner banks with atms where you'll have less fees; e.g. i bank with bofa, when i go to europe i use a barclays atm bc they have some partnership and discounted fees.
5. BE AWARE OF THE TIME. And how long it takes to get from point A to B, dont miss your show or dinner reservation from losing track or misjudging travel time; also most the nicer restaurants (steak/sushi) close relatively early, so don't do what i do and keep gambling because you're on a hot streak and then cash out a few hundred or a grand cash into your pocket and realize it's 2 or 3am and all you can get as a celebratory dinner is some mall food court tier stuff
6. Bring your own cigarettes
7. Dont forget to tip the ladies in the casino who bring you the free drinks (my rule of thumb is 5$/drink)
8. Dont worry about carrying around (or buying) water. All the drinks you get walking around are mostly light beers, and massive cocktails or slushies that all contain a ton of water (by design, they dont want people drunk off their ass on liquor or heavier beers and throwing up and falling and breaking shit all in the casino)

I'd recommended going to the hoover dam. Grand canyon seems a bit far

It's over 4 hours each way from Vegas to the grand canyon. You can do Zion and Bryce National Park in the same amount of time driving. The grand canyon is cool for an hour, but there's not much to do unless you plan on a grueling 9 hour hike into the canyon and back out. Zion and Bryce have endless good trails and the drive is amazing.

going to vegas in early December
looking at renting a car for a couple days and doing the couriers route from new vegas while im there.

Which rental company in vegas is the least shit?
I'm 23 and have a hertz five star account from capone if there is a good status match with other companys.
Anonymous No.2833507 [Report]

There are like 2 parent companies that own every single car rental company. Just rent whatever is a good deal. Use a credit card that provides automatic rental coverage and decline the insurance from the car company.

you have never been to vegas lmao. craps on the strip is $25 min on the pass line. even off strip it's $10. all casinos in vegas are really stingy about free drinks too.

I think this is wildly variable depending on where you are (not just which casino, but where on the floor), how busy it is, and what kind of internal policies they have for their own servers. Ive been given free drinks minutes after sitting down at a table or machine WHILE already having a nearly full drink in hand that i walked in with, ive also gambled for ~30min, won and left without anyone offering me a drink at all.

Sixt is good in Vegas. Not sure about the status match, but they're always good in price for the cars you get.

- Talk of the Town is another entertaining and shitty strip club. It's 18+ and totally nude rather than just topless at most places because they don't sell alcohol. Haven't been since it's got new ownership though.

I know you said you didn't have much money, but...

Gun ranges - there are lots of them. You can often get packages like 'Call of Duty' to fire a variety of weapons.

'Dig This Vegas' is fun but expensive - it's a construction equipment playground where you book an excavator or bulldozer and just dig holes and shit.

Top Golf is nice to do in the daytime.

If you have a car, it will open up a lot more affordable options for food that are often better than around the strip. Likewise, you can go and check out some thrift shops - I always find good vinyl records.

You might have a tough time with ID. If you're not American, then they'll probably expect to see your passport. Just say you're there for a work event if they ask and you're trying to catch up with your colleagues.
