I have to admit I don't get his appeal. His films are so cold and dull, not a joke to be found. Why do people like him? Also, his sound mixing is so bad I'm convinced he has a hearing problem.

nolan is one of the most boring directors of our time. he relies way too much on gimmickery and in-your-face exposition. his VFX is good though.
