My highschool history teacher told us that the US joined WWII to save the jews from concentration camps, which he described as dwarf fortress tier torture facilities with chainsaw rollercoasters. In middle school we had 3 years straight of watching schindlers list, reading anne frank's diary, etc. Basically my entire adolescence was spent having to sit and have someone talk at me about to holocaust every day for years.

If anything, we need MORE Holocaust classes in US schools. It's not enough that every year of high school should have a an entire semester dedicated to the Holocaust. Your math class should have a semester talking about the Holocaust. Your PE class should have a Holocaust semester. Your home economics sewing class should have a Holocaust curriculum.
