>>213427582For the retards in the back, the motivating reason is HOW an artist decides which things to put in the story and which events and characters to exclude.
Take a movie like 'Empire Records'. That's movie is much ado about nothing, and not trying to end world hunger or anything. Given those characters and setting, you could write a story about them working in a record store any day of the week and it might be mildly interesting. But why choose Rex Manning Day? Why start with Lucas taking the money to Atlantic City? Why even bother showing the events with Warren?
The fags running Disney at the moment couldn't even answer these basic questions, let alone figure out a good story if you told them to make a movie about a bunch of angsty teenagers working in a record store for a day. Why they can literally buy the massive Star Was universe yet not seem to find anything else interesting in it.
So they'd be totally fucked even making the setting feel in any way real or relatable if it they were told to populate a record store full of characters. You'd just wind up with boring, irrelevant, disconnected bullshit, with the lamest motivations and reason for even existing. The audience can see that, feel it.
The first trailer with the nigger stormtrooper taking off his helmet in the desert is a good example of something that superficially seemed like it was something, but just turned out to be a big nothingburger with no point, but to put a nigger in a stormtrooper outfit because artless dumbshit reasons.
