There's hardly anyone nostalgic for the 2010s. Also the culture wasn't there to support it. You could set a movie 13 years ago in 2012 and it would be set in a world just like today. If you set a movie 13 years in the past from the year 2000 it would take place in 1987 and feel like a completely different movie. No. I graduated high school in the 90s in a large suburb for a major major American city and the school was 95 percent white, as was literally every other suburban school at the time. Friend groups were were all white. There was an Asian girl who was kind of popular but that was it. School was basically like the movie can't hardly wait. That's literally my my high school experience like it was for the rest of my peers. The reason boomers and everyone who graduated high school before the millennium are always all uncle rico and glory days is because the 50s-90s were peak teen culture where you had complete freedom and no monitoring shit like cell phones. Our parents didn't even like us and didn't care if were out until 4 in the morning in like 8th grade

The 80s was the last decade with a really distinctive visual aesthetic, while also being the first decade to look recognizably modern from a 21st century vantage point. Everything from the late 90s to the present has looked kind of similar, so while you can have 90s nostalgia or 2000s nostalgia you can't as easily turn those decades into instantly visually recognizable brands.
