It's just that it's little known in the anglosphere, but that owes mostly to the fact that none of the influencers (yuri or not) ever talked about it. My feeble attempts to shill Hirasaka's works over the years also amounted to nothing.
I think once the final chapter and the movie compilation is released, it may get a little more recognition.
>>4436302Although most viewers wouldn't know or care, understandably, I'm still amazed that this is the work of just one guy in his early twenties doing everything aside from voices and music (he tried doing even that once...), and he's been getting much better with every release. But it's true that his strength is mostly in worldbuilding and directing, not so much in pure drawing skill.
