If we assume in character, with their combat skills, they'd do amazing until Walpy and might win but Chisato witches out. A first time loop would simply be Takina minimalizing magic use and Chisato playing therapy for the rest of PMHQ so they don't collapse as a group. A lot changes due to combat skills and mentality. Chisato and Takina are surprisingly well-adjusted and can cope with earth shattering bad news. Otherwise, if they are dug into a deep as a hole as when PMMM in ep1, the two would likely accept enjoying their life till they die or witch out. There is no law of cycles given that Lycoris Recoil accepts status quo inherently.

For me, besides ChisaTaki, LycoReco's "dystopia" was a very refreshing take on the theme. It isn't gloomy yet doesn't shy away from the realities of it. LycoReco has an appreciation for the status quo and a solution to a hopeless dystopia by making the best of it for oneself and their loved ones. Honestly I feel most of the critique of the plot probably comes from not understanding that.
