I want to see a bleak story where Tarumi tries to fight against fate, so she can get Shimamura in the end, no matter what cost in another universe.
Tarumi just feels ineffectual in the current reality the series takes place in, desu.
I had forgotten that I had read the fan-translated version of 99.9 before I bought the official version so I had the experience the chapter where Shimamura outlives Adachi all over again. It really is Seabed-like in its ennui.

I finished 99.9 today and it's fucking incredible, I'm not going to complain about more Adashima but it feels very silly to be releasing Vol 12 if not more after what is an absolutely perfect ending to the series. It was just lovely and heartrenching and it's making me feel things

The only way this is your takeaway is if you only saw the anime or something, Yashiro adds a lot to the series if you ask me and she undeniably adds a huge dimension to the Adashima love through the universe thing the LN set up.

It's unironically got me feeling like shit, in the sense that I'm self reflecting on what the afterlife for me will be like, who will be waiting for me in paradise when all is said and done? Shimamura lived a full life and died without regrets, I hope I can pass the way she does. Not just literally although her transitioning into her dreamscape was beautiful too

It's not that easy to run away from a rich and influential family. They would have been on the run all their lives and that without even graduating high school.
I gotta catch up with the LN, only read some of volume 11 and now 13 is coming out. Also need to read the short stories and I think 99.9 had an extra thing that wasn't in the bonus chapters.
