The movie was actually good right up until she was introduced, she's a total drag on the film and hurts the film's main story premise (of the Bond girl turning out to be the villain). She basically just exists so Bond can have a chick to be with in the final scene as per tradition. If there was one time to break that tradition, it was that one. He should have been alone at the end.

Was really cool that there was an entire co-op campaign alongside the single player story. Made up for the PvP multiplayer being bad compared to its contemporaries.

I played it on an emulator about 12 years ago but someone went wrong in it on the nuclear silo level and I couldn't proceed. Fun though.

I never had an N64 Gamepak, so every time the console switched off all my progress was wiped. I had an encyclopaedic knowledge of all the levels up to about the airfield and only a cursory knowledge of the rest, because I'd get tired or bored and switch it off. I hate that fucking jump over the balcony in the last chase mission. I died so many times trying to catch that bastard.

Do any modern n64 emulators allow cpu overclocking? I remember this game barely holding 15fps at times.

I played this recently but I could not be assed to fuck around with the last sub level. Cool for being accurate for the movie but navigating a dark underwater maze under a time limit is fucked.

Licensed games faded out in the 2010s because of rapidly skyrocketing development costs and times. You couldn't release scheduled tie-in games for movies like you used to be able to. Now all you get is maybe a mobile game.

Going by the Bond game, I'm going to guess the next James Bond movie under Amazon's full creative control will have Bond as the minority white in diverse modern Europe/America.

I miss this Goldeneye format of missions for games, more FPSes should have had it.
