Why is Nintendo so fucking retarded still with online I honestly dont get it. Why cant me and my buddies lobby up and play with randoms? Its like this in a lot of nintendo games. Is this so fucking retarded rule?

These things require investment, and one thing you see Japanese companies doing is cutting essential expenses even if they are making billions a month. Take Game Freaks, for example. It seems like they don't even hire programmers and artists, but only students to save on labor costs. And this isn't a company selling 30,000 copies per game; they are selling 15 million copies.

Join a public lobby, friend looks at friend list and sees you're playing, clicks on you to join your public lobby, more than likely going to start the race together. It's not that hard, my friend and I play with randoms together all the time with no problems.

Because they're too fuckin' scared to even attempt dedicated servers. Dedicated servers that games such as Splatoon 3 and the eventual, inevitable Splatoon 4 fucking NEED. Same with the new Mario Kart. Jesus Christ-
