Make your own discord with the intention of having some sort of community game night. Throw out server invites. Kick anyone who acts retarded or starts being a pervert. The point of the server is to play games and make friends, not jack off. Hopefully you or other folks will find others they like playing with and they'll leave and make their own server. Good, that means the purpose of the original server works.

I really don't want to, but I have half a mind to do it myself

Other anon. Big issue with 4chan is that discord invites outside of /soc/ are bannable and /soc/ there is a very specific audience that might not be your cup of tea.

Making your own server doesn't really work unless its a VERY tight knit community
The server owner always ends up in a position of power when the community grows slightly, and you'll never be on "equal footing" with the members. It's really weird.
Though I suppose if you're picking up a harem of lewdposters then its a different story

I mean you would just have to hope the admin doesn't power trip. Your options are to either keep making threads about how to make gaming friends, or actually attempt to making gaming friends. I think no matter what it would be seen as power tripping, since the idea is to immediately ban trouble makers and perverts. To what degree constitutes either of those types of people? For the most part it's subjective.
