Just watch a bit of the show and then play 2 Psychic Specters. The first game isn't bad, but the sequel is just better, and it recycles like 80% of it, so you won't miss out on anything.

I disagree, if you make a custom character, which is generally what most people want to play as in a RPG, your pc feels shoehorned into the plot, specially if you play as a skeleman because there's an even skelerman that hogs all the plot, fuck him
