The combat is poorly balanced, the lumina/picto system breaks the game easily halfway through. It should have a max for NG, then another max for post game content and then NG+ break the limit.
Remove the 9999 damage break limit picto and only put it for NG+. Balance the post game content around this.
The dodge/parry system gets in the way of the RPG elements of the game. Each dodge/parry should cost AP and the game should be about AP managment, like a true turn based RPG.
Enemy design sucks, it should be about enemies stadistics and RPG elements and not "different attack patterns" that differentiate them.
The story focuses too much on a family you dont really care and not the party you are playing with, Sciel and Lune stop being characters. The fake Renoir you fight and be emotionally involved with for Gustav is a fake. Terrible decision.
The side content / Side areas is unrewarding and boring. Its always the same: get new ability, go back with excitement to see the new optional area you unlocked and it is either 1 room with a music disc or a place that you cannot visit because too hard.
The zones are waaaay too busy looking, therefore having a minimap is required. It gets boring to go around and around because you got lost, more when you include the unskippable battles.
