Early sales are more indicative of the previous console than the current one. Switch 1 sold 150 million so you are going to have a lot of early adopters. It also had more stock then a lot of them but you can tell, even early on, it was moving pretty slowly.
PS5 had the biggest launch up until recently and its tracking below the PS4 now, so early numbers mean very little

They make fun actual video games instead of movies, live-service slop, and political speeches. They're selling at an affordable price point compared to PlayStation and Xbox. They didn't turn on and spit in the face of their console-base buying lying for years that they wouldn't kill their console but then, one day, decided to just randomly kill their console.
