This is actually a pretty good game!
Crazy mode is a good remix of the game, making it harder but still fair, and more fun as it demands more battle strategy since it plants way more and stronger enemies around.
And for as much as people call it a DMC clone well... I dunno if that's a bad thing (though it's not really a clone, it's just also a 3D action game), but DMC3 took some ideas from Lament for sure...

Curse of Darkness improves the gameplay but the level design is worse

Speaking about DMC3, im at mission 18 and right before the boss rush part there's a path with 2 angel enemies.
Honestly I still didn't figure out how to consistently beat them. I get that I have to break their guard first but they always do that ranged explosion attack that takes so much HP I keep dying to them.
They are optional so I don't know if I should keep training and learning them, or just keep going? Are there more of these enemies later on?

Really? First time I heard it.
Save for the fact they're both 3D action games with limited camera angles, they don't really have much in common.
And the first DMC in particular was really hard. LoI was extremelly easy in comparison.

I have no problem with any Castlevania games aside from the Lords of Darkness ones or whatever that reboot series was called.
I even like 64 and Judgement.

how? Lament of Innoence is the same dungeon crawl over and over except for a handful of descriptors per "area"

Castlevania 64 is seemingly the only puzzle castlevania, so that is the one i will give a chance because of how ridiculously rare actual action adventure games with puzzles are. So its already more interesting than its other 3D counterparts.

CV64 was worth playing 5 times
>Reinhardt 64/LoD
>Carrie 64/LoD
>Cornell LoD
1 playthrough of Lament of Innocence is enough to make someone give up on 3D CV altogether

I played both and I think it's worth doing so if you have a genuine interest in the game. They have different levels and there's other small changes from 64 to LoD.

Crazy mode on Curse of Darkness is pretty wild. Way, way harder than Crazy LoI or normal CoD.
