for me, day of defeat. few servers, everybody's memorized every angle and only camps, weird rule about not shooting from spawn even though guys are shooting into the spawn. as i was walking out the door i saw a guy and shot him, i was still 0.001% in spawn, so the server auto killed me and announced i attacked him from spawn, admins all yelled at me, i respawned and fired a single shot at the ground right in front of one. then they banned me. this is why your fucking game is dead and why i like singleplayer.

I think this is like a rite of passage for everyone to go through at some point.

It was cathartic to finally get to play without someone else making up the rules of the game and watching them eat shit when they can't force everyone to follow it. Like the only chance they had was to gimp everyone else so they could get a win.
