No, there is zero reason to use a GC over a Wii for playing GC games. Wii will give you better performance, more options for controllers, and someone might say that Wii picture quality is worse, but this is based on old information and is a problem fixed in all homebrew platforms. The Wii is faster, loads faster, runs games smoother thanks to Nintendont and lets you play how you want.
