>>712512275 that's a good reaction speed, you shouldn't have any issues with it, on top of that keep in mind that you can still train it and that is affected by your current energy and fatigue
>>712511650 (OP) >never been good at fps >always been an aimlet and reactiontimelet >can't lose something i never had >mfw your whinging

>>712511650 (OP) Thatโs when experience comes into play. You gotta know which routes most players will take, which corner to check, which areas to be aware of. Thatโs the only way to counter failing reaction time. Fighting games help a lot with this because as you play, you start to learn what combo routes most players will go and work around that.

t. 45 year old with reaction times as good as ever.
Unless you do e-sports for a living why would you give a shit? online games are filled with brain dead people so you'll be better than average regardless

>>712511650 (OP) if you're some autist thinking you can make it to the top of the esports world or some shit, yes
if you just play for fun and don't mind losing, then just keep playing
>My reaction time is getting better and better The ringing in my ears is getting louder. I also started hearing whispers and I keep seeing things move in the corner of my eyes think I might kms
It doesnt matter unless you are playing frame perfect fighting games, if you have the muscle memory to move your cursor on enemy thing out of reflex, you can play fps games
I play cs2 at the ripe age of 34 and i fucking hate russians and russian zoomers so much its unreal

>>712511650 (OP) Modern FPS games are catering to an input method that is only capable of slow, inaccurate camera panning, their corpo-run servers have an abysmal tick-rate and they have a correspondingly low skill ceiling and skill floor. You will have no problems. You are more likely to have issues with your distance from the server than you are with your reaction times.

>>712515087 Might be stress related. Might I recommend stretching exercises and avoiding food that could put undue pressure on your body? Cut down on sugar and salty garbage, and processed foods. Go for a 40 minute jog every day. Also, may I recommend sleeping with white noise, or some calming music? It'll help your brain drown out the tinnitus.
>>712511650 (OP) Either that or quit smoking weed. All the Arena Shooter pros are pushing their 50's and their reaction times haven't gotten any worse.

just make your joy for fps revolve around outsmarting your opponent instead of being faster at the draw.

>>712516812 my tinnitus was brought on by stress. i actually remember the exact day I got it. thankfully I like music, so I'm always wearing headphones on really low volume just listening to whatever. it doesn't have to be loud or constant, but it drowns it out almost perfectly. at night, i just leave my phone on pandora playing whatever with the air condition on 24/7. i dont even need the air condition, it just makes noise so i keep it
Reaction speed is affected by your thyroid, so eat shit that's good for it and your reaction times will get better. Mostly though in FPSes you want good crosshair placement more than anything, that and gamesense will be what actually makes the difference if you face off against an Adderallhead zoomer.
