This is total nonsense. The Cell processor the bane of the PS3, because it does not work like a genuine CPU. It is good for crunching numbers, but that is it.

It actually only has one CPU core and was otherwise designed more like a GPU, which is why it was notoriously difficult to program games for. This is why it was discontinued and also why we will never see anything like it ever again in the desktop space.
