how many charge cycles has it been through? I found that the battery life improved after 4-5 100%-0% discharges

It can't be helped, it's what you would except from a powerful handheld:

>i think technology is infinite, and if you wait enough time somehow we will magically have more power and more battery life AND improved graphics and performance because thats how the world works!
I really cant believe people are this stupid, and yet, im consistently proven wrong.

Weve been using the same fucking lithium batteries for years, and it isnt changing any time soon. We have at best increased battery efficiency by ~10% in the last 15 years, most of the growth was in battery life, and keeping them at or below 80% charge. If you thought "well the switch 1 was years ago so surely the new one will have 4x the battery! and also the new graphics and performance!" then you are purely, entirely, a retard.

Then understand the limits of technology and only play small games like... stardew?
or get a battery pack, or extension.

Fair enough. Have you considered enjoying a cup of tea in your backyard on a nice breezy evening, but without the Switch 2 though? It may help with the battery issue.

Being alone with my own thoughts can be exhausting since I have as many voices in my head as Mr. Du Bois does.

that its handheld
Handheld and portable are two different things. No one said you could play it for 16 hours without being near a plug

but if you ARE away from power for a while, then you need to understand the limits of technology and realise you need to play less intensive games, or, bring powerbanks. Same with laptops, only they can afford to use bigger batteries because they are physically bigger and less portable because of it.

There is no excuse, Nintendo arent magic fairies. They cant make a battery 50% smaller, 80% lighter, 260% higher capacity, 240% more efficient, 60% faster charging, 90% cooler, 40% more energy efficient - all while keeping it affordable for a kids console.
Even if there was a magic battery that could run CP2077 for 40 hours instead of 1.5-2 hours, itd cost six figures and have the US military attempting to seize it.

The retardation starts and ends with you not knowing any of this.

Reset your battery.
>Power it off
>hold both volume + and - buttons whilst powering back on
>keep holding them until recovery menu appears.
Apparently just being on that menu resets the battery, it should now display an accurate battery percentage

you need to thermically activate the litihium ion cells to enable them to fully discharge and recharge to 100% efficiency - they ship them only partially activated so they have a longer shelf life if stored for long periods without being charged. about 3 minutes 30 seconds in an 800w microwave should stimulate enough thermic charge activity in the battery cells to fully activate it.
