I like Nioh (and SoP) enough to do one playthrough while ignoring the copy pasted missions and minmax autism. SoP was a big improvement since it axed stamina and had that one button auto equip feature. Don't remember if Nioh 2 had that or not.

Technically it's been largely renamed. The Spirit Attack is the same thing and functions the same. Now even with a different attack for every single individual spirit.

Rise of the Ronin has the potential to be a sleeper hit once Team Ninja fixes it up some more. Not so sure about Wo Long

I think to them it's like the vomit taste of Hershey's chocolate. They cannot imagine a Nioh without the dead weight so they lash out like crazy.

To be honest I think the bigger problem with Nioh is how movesets work, how you custom-slot them into whatever combination of button inputs. I would far prefer if it was like a Ninja Gaiden or DMC weapon where you have access to everything at once all on non-overlapping inputs. I never liked the God Hand approach. Feels limiting. Especially when you have to change one attack for another and the muscle memory gets screwy.

I'm honestly surprised people are still having melt downs about the loot system. It's been almost 10 years now. And they're still coming into Nioh threads to have meltdowns about it.

is there still ki pulse in the game? Its the one mechanic i really grew annoyed off over the course of the game.

the weapons are probably still the same randomly generated shit that gets very slightly better the more you level up and you have to change your equipment every few minutes to be optimal

Never tried a nioh game but played the Final Fantasy one, is it any different from nioh? That shit was garbage towards the end where i needed to farm to kill like a chinese wow farmer.
