do you still buy physical games ?
>Do you collect more junk in your house?
No. Modern physical games are paperweights anyway, they won't even work without the day 1 250GB patch. Also
>buying when I can just pirate
for what reason?
For console I only buy physical.
>>712539861 (OP)not really, but i do try to buy digital games where i can own the them not just rent online.
>>712540757i hope they dont need any patching.
Started collection physical Switch games last year
It's kinda fun to put in an actual cartridge when you want to play something
>>712539861 (OP)No, got bored about hoarding games. Mgsv in 2015 was my last physical game
>>712541323Idgaf about those. But for the same price as digital I may aswell get a disc and a physical copy to store/resell/borrow. Even for 10€ extra.
>>712540762all of this comes empty, with download codes
No, there has been no point in physical since the introduction of high capacity flash media.
I love owning all my games. Didn't pay for any of them, though.
>>712539861 (OP)Yes. On my PS5 and Switch 2. If the game isn't complete, I don't buy it. When the landscape switches to all digital on consoles, I would prefer to just go on the PC and play retro console games at that point.
I've about 50 or 60 pre steam pc game discs. Mostly I purchase games from g2a or at steep discounts on steam and strip steam from them for archival purposes. I only buy physical games when they're at thriftstores or garage sales and not beat up looking.
>inb4 new games
Lol. Lmao even.
too bad it's always garbage
>>712539861 (OP)I only buy physical now. If it's digital only, I'll live without and if I buy a game I don't like, I sell it so my collection is only stuff I enjoy.
>>712539861 (OP)yes to play and complete then sell for 80% of my money back, buying and keeping is cringe hoarderism
>>712539861 (OP)no. i stopped a few years ago
>>712543036the smell was the best part of unboxing old games
>>712543786because you will own nothing and be happy
game time digital sisters
Time to play some digital games on Steam. https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2024/10/steam-now-reminds-you-that-it-really-sells-a-license-for-a-digital-product/
>>712539861 (OP)when I'm not pirating I buy physical, preferably used
>>712539861 (OP)>day one patch>dlc>updates>no community serversphysical games don't exist anymore
It's gonna be a lit weekend...
