will valve actually make linux go beyond 2% of PC?

Imagine if google and valve joined efforts in some way to make compatibility with normie shit, so linux could work fine for normi cattle.

8% in a couple of years and then it will be unstoppable, once people realize how easy it is to use and maintain there's no going back. What they'll learn about its usage will stick and the fundamental shit hasn't changed for almost 30 years. Mainline being that people like familiarity and Windows being itself will be the one that turns the push into shove by being unfamiliar to its users.

the biggest issue is adobe and autodesk.

games are a big deal, but not the deal breaker to normies.

luckily adobe is also becoming so shit the entire industry is moving away from it.

blender is also becoming good enough to smaller studios and normies to replace maya and 3D max.
