This game was extremely fucking mediocre, there was almost no gameplay. It's just a movie.

Cool. I liked the base game. Yeah, it's just a hallway simulator, but it was neat.

It's not even a good movie, the pacing is horribly slow because it has to inject shitty, artificial gameplay into an already slow story.
The voice acting is typically bad but all of these kinds of games are like that.
The monsters are all retarded and completely unthreatening in the few segments of the game where you can actually do something besides walk in a straight line.

That being said, the concept was somewhat novel. Hopefully in the sequel they add some gameplay and keep the dialogue to a minimum, but we all know that's not how this type of game works.

Oh my fucking god, thanks so much for posting this, I loved this game and never thought they'd make an expansion for this 4 hour long game, it's one of those games I wish I could forget and replay again

If the base game is like a walking sim, this one would be a swimming sim?
Are there still weird lovecraftian elements down there? Im gonna guess probably.

There would have to be, the description heavily implies that there's going to be something down there.

That's unexpected. So it's set a decade after the events of the first game and you play as some lady diver with some radio man as assistance?
What angle do they want to go with that? Since we know what happened to the rig, is it just going to be learning the origins of the entity? We going to see the old protag?

All I know for certain is that depending on this expansion it might end up ruining the original game on playthrough, but I can't say I'm not curious.

The base game had great atmosphere+acting and decent storytelling, but the gameplay was dogshit. I'll only buy this expansion if it has some degree of depth and challenge in terms of exploration/traversal or puzzle solving.
