Can a game dev decide that you're playing a game the "wrong" way?
>>712561058 (OP)Did Ed ever do that? It seems more like he just wanted Isaac to have more gameplay and fewer overt Godruns. One of Isaacs greatest strengths is how even a shit run is salvageable, willingness to restart is on the player
>>712561058 (OP)Yeah, but there are also fun ways to play the game wrong. And ultimately, they can't change how you play the game, for the most part.

the best part of video games is ruining the game for everyone else because of something the developer was too stupid to predict
>Game has leveling up and smithing
>Get to late game boss
>Didnt level up, vanilla sword. To keep "an honest challenge"
>Get ass blasted
>This game is so unbalanced.
>The B team
>No I'm not a tranny
>>712561058 (OP)Why even play the game when you just want to cheese every challenge while your eyes are glued on a wiki?
Funny troll thread but I will say I think it's a fun exercise to try and imagine how the dev "wanted" me to play a game. It's made some games more fun. Sometimes that answer is even break the shit out of the game.
