>Pay ISP for internet
>don't pay anyone else for it
>Play/create mods/maps
>hundreds to thousands of free mods including total conversions (basically an entirely new game for free)
>millions of free custom maps
>don't pay for DLC map packs or "preorder season pass" for unannounced DLC
>Run my own dedicated servers and kick/ban anyone I want for any reason I want
>don't rely on reports to rid the game of undesirables
>don't rely on daddy corporation to kick anyone I don't like
>don't get banned from the entire game or entire online for the console for ThoughtCrime™
>edit config files directly, don't rely on in-game settings (which consoles games rarely have, if ever)
>add widescreen support to ancient 4:3 games
>fix ancient games with community patches
>restore online support with community mods
>keyboard/mouse superior for almost all game genres
>racing wheel/pedals for racing sims
>gamepad for anything that's better with a joystick
>hundreds of thousands of games to choose from and growing
>thousands of games which will never be on any console
>more top-notch games to play than time to play them (have to know how to spot console trash to avoid ofc)
>can emulate shitty console games, not that there's ever a reason to play dumbed-down console pleb garbage though

Now explain why you don't prefer PC

sounds like a lot of busywork to distract yourself from actually playing games
