Will we ever get a King's Field 5? Do you think it would continue the Verdite trilogy, 4 or be its own story?

Then my post has wronged you by mentioning it and for that I apologize. To answer your question I can only hope From return to KF or Shadow Tower at some point. They would probably need to overhaul the combat and make some sort of much faster actiony first person combat to not alienate the newer Fromsoft audience (almost nobody would tolerate classic KF combat in a modern game today, imagine the /v/ shitposting for a start) but I do think From could definitely come up with some good first person combat that doesn't rely on third person rollslop in this day and age. It would be nice if a hypothetical KF5 could tie the world together and mention 1-3 as well as 4, in 4 there is actually no references at all to 1-3 and it may as well be a complete reboot of the series.

the best part of ST 1 was when you were in the dungeon with the statues and then you find the giant chasm that leads to an underground castle. I wish more of the game was like that. Maybe i should play the rest of the series, they seem pretty interesting.

Illusion World was my favorite part. It had the best enemies and exploration, and I liked how creepy the boss of the area was.

I still need to play even one game in the series. I doubt they will ever bring it back. If they do they sure as hell aren't going to be keeping that slow paced combat.
