Get what? The sequel completly abandons Jacket and everything related to him, they even kill off The Fans as early as they can to focus on the most boring lame ugly characters in existence, and then nothing mattered anyway because everyone dies.

I wish 2 leaned more into the unreliable narration angle that Biker had going for him.

The closest we got was, I think, The Son slaughtering The Fans in the final mission but that was much more of a perception thing (read: him getting a grip) than an alternate telling of the story.
Or maybe The Abyss since the fat bastard is supposed to die before he can kickstart the events leading to it. All the same, I wish they used that more.
