Yeah Doom 3 is pretty good. I haven't played that for ages and I never finished it. Maybe i'll try that one again. Condemned looks good too so I'm gonna try that out. I tried FEAR a few years ago but found it a bit boring, maybe i needed to play it for longer. I've got FEAR 2 & 3 on steam too but I've never played them, I'm not sure if they're better than 1.

Yeah it's maybe like 20% horror, but the horror parts are pretty good quality scary, for me anyway, especially playing it at night with headphones. Going through those underground labs are mostly the scary parts. And the last area with that weird voice. The environments are really good too which I think helps make it scarier. I like exploring abandoned buildings and stuff irl and they did a pretty good job in Stalker of recreating that same kind of feeling. There's lots of different weird noises and things going on all the time in the scary parts. I reckon it's scarier that Outlast or Amnesia, and it has guns which makes it more fun.
