>cinematic
there's no scripted sequences to the fight, it's not cinematic whatsoever. "has narrative stakes" or "is in a pretty, well-lit arena" is not what 'cinematic' means in the context of action games.
>>712605614 (OP)Jeanne in Bayonetta. Shame you have to play through that Fantasy Zone section first.
>>712606224Yeah, QTE fights are true cinematic fights.
>>712606397it's not a binary. you can do something cinematic without compromising it or turning it into just a QTE. but I guess /v/ can't handle basic baby nuance (nobody here plays games)
>>712606019Not the easiest but it was pretty easy, especially when compared to Owl Father
>>712606397Correct. Sekiro is le QTE fights.
Except for one bullshit instant-response counter Inner Isshin's first form occasionally does, yeah it's very fun to go back and forth with him
>>712605614 (OP)>cinematic>no gorekido tier safety family friendly fights
>>712606046>200+ deaths in dread modeGODFUCKINGDAMN that was fun after taking taking the first 50 just to get to phase 2

I have the opposite for you
A boss that's complete ass mechanically but still good since it was so striking
>>712605614 (OP)theres nothing cinematic about this. idk why you retards insist on using the word "cinematic" to just refer to "thing that looks cool to me"
>>712609228You're baiting or whatever but give some video game boss fight gorekino
